Reverse setting: Set your drill on reverse, means anti-clockwise.
Using tools: Take a cloth and clean the end of the bit first. Grip the bit with the locking plier and twist it anti-clockwise to take out the bit.
If the bit is too shredded to grip you can chisel the edge of the bit to make a good grip. Use the plier again and twist it anti-clockwise, it should come out.
How to get unbroken drill bit out of drill?
Getting unbroken bit out of drill is easier than broken one. If the drill bit is stuck in the drill, you will need to use a hex key or a wrench to turn the bit.
If the chuck does not require any hex key you need to do followings:
Use your hand: Sometime the bit gets stuck from the side. Take a small hammer and tap on the side to make sure. Then wrap the chuck with a cloth and grip tightly with your bare hand. Reverse the chuck and it will come off.
Use a wrench: If the bit is stubborn to come off, you need to use a wrench. Again wrap the chuck with a cloth and grip it with the wrench tightly. Reverse the drill until the bit get loosen.
Use a vice: Usingvice is the best method to keep the chuck stretch free. Put some hard paper sheets between the jaws and place your drill chuck right on the vice. Grip the chuck with that vice and switch the drill counter wise. The bit will come off without any stretch on the chuck.
